Charleston Donut Shops!

Happy National Donut Day!  This is one holiday we are more than happy to celebrate! We polled our contributors and put together this list of some of our favorite local donuts to eat today or any day. Which are your favorites? Let us know if we missed yours and we’ll add it to the list.

Glazed Gourmet Doughnuts

481 King Street, Charleston

Glazed is not your typical donut shop with flavors like maple bacon, key lime pie, and apple pie cheddar . You won’t be disappointed! For National Donut Day, Glazed will have discounts and prizes throughout the day.

Joey Bag a Donuts

1118 Park West Blvd, Mt Pleasant

Besides delicious fresh-made donuts, Joey’s also has hot beverages, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, and their personalized donut cakes!

Donut Connection

134 St James Avenue, Goose Creek

For Donut Day, every paying customer will leave with a gift card for a future visit! Stop in for donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee!

High Cotton

199 East Bay Street, Charleston

While not a traditional donut shop, we felt High Cotton was worth mentioning on this list for their bacon, apple,  & bourbon glazed donut holes offered during Sunday brunch. We’re drooling just thinking about them!

**Diggity Doughnuts (Soon to be Nana’s Doughnuts)

616 Meeting Street, Charleston (opening in July)

Note: Diggity Doughnuts is a favorite of many of our team members but they are no longer open. They’ll be opening their new shop on Meeting Street in July under a new name and their food truck schedule will start again in September. Trust us, it will be worth the wait!
