This month, there are two amazing CMB events for mamas to attend!

Join us on September 16 for Meet Me at the Barre – a Moms Night Out at Barre Evolution! September Events Charleston

The CMB team is participating in the 2016 Lowcountry Heart Walk on September 24. In order to raise money for the American Heart Association, we’re hosting a Paint It Forward fundraiser at Wine and Design on September 8. Can’t make it to our fundraiser? That’s okay! Join our team here and walk with the CMB team for a good cause!

Movies Under the Stars

Pack your blanket and a lawn chair and head to Charles Towne Landing for the final Movies Under the Stars of the Summer, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Music on the Green

Enjoy the last Music on the Green of the Summer with a performance by The Counts. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended.

Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Show

Celebrate the end of Summer with a fireworks show on Folly Beach!

Wednesday, September 7th

Kid Tours: The Candy Shop

Join the Charleston Museum for their monthly Kid Tours. This month, children will learn about the art of making candy while examining tools of the trade and items from the Denaux Candy Kitchen, located on King Street in the 1920s.

Address: The Charleston Museum, 360 Meeting Street.
Time: 3:30-5pm
Cost: FREE for members and free with admission for non-members. Children under 3 are free.

Saturday, September 10th

5th Annual 9/11 Heroes Run

Run this 5K on Daniel Island in honor of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and all those who continue to serve our country.

Address: Charleston Fire Department, 235 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island

Grandparents Day Photo Event

Get professional family photos taken by Chelsea Paige Photography in honor of Grandparents Day. Photo opps include grandparents with grandkids, children only, family and more! Outside and inside backgrounds will be available.

Citadel Football Home Opener

Cheer on the Bulldogs as they play the Furman Paladins in their 2016 home opener! It’s also Military Appreciation Night!

2nd Sunday On King

Shop, dine, and walk along King Street, which is closed off to traffic, on the 2nd Sunday of each month! Print this voucher to receive two hours of free parking!!

Wednesday, September 14th

Toddler Day: Teddy Bear Tea Party

Bring your teddy bear and enjoy a tea party and craft at the Charleston Museum’s weekly toddler class! The class is designed for children 18 months-3 years and a parent/guardian. All classes are on Wednesdays from 10 – 11 a.m.

Saturday, September 17th

Fam Jam

Join the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry for this play family festival that celebrates the importance of PLAY!

Big Trucks and More!

Head to the library and get up close and personal with some awesome vehicles!

Batman Day

Celebrate the third annual Batman Day with activities, trivia, coloring and much more. Costumes are encouraged!

Scottish Games & Highland Gathering

Celebrate the Scottish heritage with a day full of live music, piping an drumming, Scottish heavy athletics, dancing, children’s activities and more.

1st Backyard Chicken Workshop

Learn about raising chickens at a special course at Legare Farms. Children will have a lesson about chickens, do several crafts, and play games. Lunch is included.

Sunday, September 18th

Living Green Fest

For the past nine years, the Carolina Green Fair has been providing education and resources for protecting and preserving our natural environment. This year, under it’s new name the Living Green Fest, the event will include health and wellness programming. The events includes vendors, experts, activities, demonstrations, artisans, a KidZone and more.

Cost: Free with $2 park admission. Free for Gold Pass members.

Meet the Characters from Zootopia

Get your picture taken and receive an autograph from the characters from Zootopia. Reserve your spot here.

Saturday, September 24th

Little Mozart Circus

This free outdoor family event showcases music educational opportunities in Charleston.  Enjoy the various student ensemble performances, browse various informative tents hosted by arts organizations, schools and music teachers, play games, win prizes and try instruments at the “instrument petting zoo!”

Kidz Bop – Life of the Party Tour

Bazaar at the Point
