Holiday Festival of Lights

November 10 – January 1

James Island County Park, 871 Riverland Drive, Charleston

Featuring over 700 displays and 2 million lights, the Holiday Festival of Lights is a cherished holiday tradition for many families throughout Charleston and beyond. From November 10 – January 1, James Island County Park comes alive with illumination, and is a great place to capture the magic of the holiday season.


Elfstravaganza

November 11, 9 am – 2 pm

Belle Hall Shopping Center, 526 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant

Celebrate the start of the holiday season at Wonder Works’ Annual Holiday Elfstravaganza, Saturday, November 11th, from 9am-2pm, at Wonder Works in the Belle Hall Shopping Center. 


Freshfields Village Holiday Festival

November 25, 11 am – 3 pm

165 Village Green Lane, Kiawah Island, 29455

Freshfields Village decks the halls on Saturday, November 25 as this annual celebration returns to the Village Green from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free children’s activities include face painting by Cupcake the Clown, balloon twisting, an inflatable games and rides on the Mechanical Reindeer. There will also be a variety of complimentary holiday craft and activity booths.


Old Village Holiday Streetfest

November 30, 5 – 9 pm

113 Pitt St., Mt. Pleasant, 29464

Head to Pitt Street in the Old Village for a good ole fashioned Holiday Streetfest! As always, there will be delicious food trucks, live entertainment, holiday vendors, artisans and more!


Isle of Palms Holiday Street Festival

December 2, 2 pm – 7 pm

Ocean Blvd, Isle of Palms

Head down to Front Beach on Isle of Palms and help bring in the holiday season island style. This free event will have live music, carnival rides, food and craft vendors and even a visit from Santa Claus! At approximately 5:30 the city will officially light the 24′ tree on Front Beach.


Holiday Festival on Daniel Isand

December 2, 11 am – 4 pm

Volvo Car Stadium, 161 Seven Farms Drive, Charleston, 29492

Bring the whole family out and enjoy this “feel good” holiday community event. Enjoy the fabulous holiday shopping, featuring scores of Charleston’s finest vendors as well as outstanding entertainment and kid’s activities!


Family Yuletide at Middleton Place
December 9

Middleton Place, 4300 Ashley River Road

Fresh greenery, berries and other natural items gathered from the plantation will be provided to make wreaths and other holiday decor. Stableyards artisan shops will be lit by candlelight as craftspeople ply their trades and interact with visitors. Seasonal refreshments provided. 

$15/adults, $5/child (4-13)


Tanger Outlets Family Winter Festival

December 20, 2 pm – 8 pm

Share your holiday wishes with Santa, sing and dance with Elsa & Anna from the movie Frozen, gather around for story time with Jingle the Elf, craft tree ornaments with AR Workshop, and more! Plus a chance to win a $250 Tanger Shopping Spree!
