November 11 & 12
Where: James Island County Park, 871 Riverland Drive, Charleston, SC.
A two-mile fun run and walk and special preview of the Holiday Festival of Lights. Pre-registration is required.
Where: Northwoods Mall, 2150 Northwoods Blvd, North Charleston.
Time: 7 – 9pm
Enjoy sweet treats, entertainment, face painting, balloons and storytime with Santa. First 150 kids (12 and under) who wear their PJs will get a FREE special pillowcase* to take home. *While supplies last.
November 13 – January 3
Where: James Island County Park, 871 Riverland Drive, Charleston, SC 29412.
Time: Sunday – Thursday, 5:30 – 10pm. Friday and Saturday, 5:30 – 11pm.
Each year, thousands of families create lasting memories at the Holiday Festival of Lights, where millions of multicolored lights illuminate the sky throughout 52 enchanting nights. Journey through three miles of over 700 magical light displays of all shapes and sizes. Park your car and enjoy family activities, shopping, food, entertainment, and so much more! Monday – Thursday, get into the festival for only $10 per vehicle (1-15 guests) with the donation of a canned food item or dog/cat food to benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank.
Where: Wonderworks Toys, Belle Hall Shopping Center, 526 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant.
Time: 9am – 2pm
Face painting, writing letters to Santa, decorating cookies, arts and crafts, and MORE FREE activities will be available all day. This event will benefit Hugs for Harper Endowment, Keys for Hope, MUSC Children’s Hospital, and Operation Christmas Child.
Where: Citadel Mall, 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC.
Time: 9 – 10am
Includes treats for the children, giveaways and pictures with Santa. Children bring toys to donate to Toys for Tots will receive a free Chick-fil-A breakfast. A balloon artist and more will entertain at the breakfast. The breakfast will take place in the mall food court starting at 9am, with the opportunity to take photos with Santa afterward.
November 19 – 22
Where: Belle Hall Shopping Center, 526 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant.
Time:Thursday – Saturday 10am – 9pm, Sunday 10am – 5pm.
Ice skating is free and skate rentals will be available for $6. $2 off your skate rental when you bring a pet a food donation to the ice skating rink on Sunday, November 22nd between 10am – 5pm.

The Buy Local Block Party brings community members and local merchants together for a one-of-a-kind social event that highlights locally owned independent businesses with live music, local artists, indie retailers, film and of course LOCAL food, beverages and beer garden.
Where: Mt. Pleasant Towne Center, 1218 Belk Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Meet in front of Belk for a laser light show, train rides, live music, giveaways, and a visit from Santa.
November 21 – 23
Where: North Charleston Coliseum, 5001 Coliseum Drive, Charleston, SC.
Time: November 21 & 22, 10am. November 23, 11am.
Offering foods and fashions, gifts and glitter, music and magic – everything to make the holidays bright. This exciting Christmas extravaganza kicks off the season with specialty gift stores, fashion jewelry, clothing, gourmet foods, decorations and ideas, home accessories and décor, food and wine sampling, arts and crafts, and of course, Santa!
Where: Wild Blue Ropes. 1595 Highland Avenue, Charleston.
Time: 10am – 10pm.

Spend your Thanksgiving morning at the Turkey Day run and party afterwards with live music, free food and beer (for 21+) and activities for kids. Children’s run begins at 10am.

The Garden Market & Nursery and Museum Shop kick-off the shopping season with an open-air market including local artisans and vendors, live musicians performing festive carols, complimentary hot cider and treats, and featured items in both shops.

The Christmas season comes alive at Boone Hall Plantation with an exciting new special event that is designed to bring some holiday magic and joy to people of all ages!

Live music from the Summerville High School band and choir begins at 6pm. At 6:30 PM join the Mayor of the Town as he lights up Town Square.

“A few nights each December, the parking lot of Bethany United Methodist Church becomes the city of Bethlehem. The pavement and the people are transformed into the Living Christmas Story, a drive-through re-enactment of the way life was 2,000 years ago on the night Jesus Christ was born. Not an ordinary Christmas play, the Living Christmas Story uses real people from the Summerville community who become the people of Bethlehem. Villagers, a blacksmith, the innkeeper, pottery makers, the marketplace and many more scenes come alive as you drive through and experience the night Christ came to us.”
