The 4th of July is all about celebrating the birthday of America, thanking those that fight for our freedom, bbq-ing with friends and family, and fireworks! Oh, the fireworks! There’s something magical about seeing the sky light up in red, white & blue. We’ve compiled a list of fantastic fireworks displays and Independence Day events happening in and around Charleston!

Mount Pleasant

Patriots Point 4th of July Celebration. Buy tickets to watch the fireworks from the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. Or, party land side for free with live music, activities for kids, and food and beverages for purchase.

{Date} Tuesday, July 4. The Flight Deck opens at 6pm.

{Location} 40 Patriots Point Rd, Mount Pleasant 29464

{Admission} Free for landslide celebration. Parking is $10/vehicle. Tickets for the Flight Deck are $35 or $100, buy tickets here.

Uncle Sam Jam. Enjoy live music and fireworks at the Mt. Pleasant Pier, located at the foot of the Ravenel bridge.

{Date} Tuesday, July 4. Gates open at 7 pm and music begins at 8 pm.

{Admission} Advance purchase is $8, on-site purchase is $10

Isle of Palms

Sullivans Island

Independence Day Celebration in the Park.

4th of July Festival featuring musical guests, activities for kids, vendors, food trucks, and a fireworks show!
