Saturday, July 1 – Sunday, July 2

Front Lines to the Home Front

The Flowertown Player’s will be hosting the Patriotic show which will feature local letters, stories, songs, and history as you travel through the major events of the twentieth century through today.

Old Row Summer Tour ft. Luke Combs and Jon Langston

Head down to The Grove at Patriots Point for the kickoff event for the Old Row Summer Tour. Headlining will be Luke Combs along with country singer/songwriter Jon Langston.

Sunday, July 2

Festival of Mountain Music on Kiawah

Grammy award winner David Holt and Josh Goforth bring the spirit of old time mountain music and stories to life with the use of banjos, slide guitar, mandolin, and many other instruments. The show also includes music from The Jeff LIttle Trio, and Amythyst Kiah.

4th of July Blast at Patriots Point

Celebrate the 4th at beautiful Patriots Point. In addition to being able to watch the fireworks landside, there are also two different Flight Deck ticket options.

Time: Access on the flight deck will begin at 6 pm, fireworks will begin once the sun sets in the harbor
Cost: Check out ticket options for the Flight Deck here; you can also watch the firework display landside for FREE, and parking will cost $10/vehicle

Independence Day Celebration

Head over to Middleton Place for readings of the Declaration and interactive demonstrations.

July 4th Family Picnic Cruise

Watch the fireworks aboard “Old Glory” and enjoy patriotic music and a delicious summer time menu.

Address: Board at the Aquarium Wharf, 360 Concord St., Charleston
Time: Boarding begins at 7:30 pm, returns to dock at 10:30 pm
Cost: Adults are $72, children (ages 4-11) are $50

Tuesday, July 4

Sea Stars & Stripes

Head down to the Aquarium for some tasty food, the Aquarium experience, and an amazing view of the fireworks over the Charleston Harbor.

Time: 5 pm – 1o pm
Cost: $15, FREE for members

Tuesday, July 4

Uncle Sam Jam

Charleston County Parks is hosting the Uncle Sam Jam at the Mt. Pleasant Pier, complete with live Carolina beach music and a great view of the fireworks at the Charleston Harbor.

Time: 7 pm – 11 pm
Cost: Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door

Wednesday, July 5

Kid Tours: Signers of the Declaration

Did you know that the two youngest signers of the Declaration were from South Carolina? Learn more at the Charleston Museum, and enjoy a craft as well!

Cost: FREE for Museum members, FREE with admission for non-members, children under 3 are FREE

Sunday, July 9

2nd Sunday on King Street

Shop, dine, and walk along King Street, which is closed off to traffic, on the 2nd Sunday of each month! Print this voucher to receive two hours of free parking!

Friday, July 14

Charleston Margarita Festival

If you like margaritas (or live music and delicious food) then don’t miss out on this second annual event held downtown at Brittlebank Park.

Animal Forest Tuesday at Charles Towne Landing 

Bring your toddlers to watch the animals and stay for a story and a walk out to the habitat. Recommended ages is 2-4.

Third Thursdays in Summerville

On the third Thursday of each month, downtown Summerville becomes a prime spot for live entertainment, special offers from restaurants, shopping, and local music.

Decades Rewind

Feeling nostalgic for some old music? Check out this concert, dance party, and theatrical performance, all wrapped into one! With music from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, there’s something for everyone!

Palmetto Paddle

This annual event is a water lifestyle event with races, food, and music. There is a shorter course for beginners and a longer course for those more advanced.

Time: The long course will begin at 8:30 am and the short course will begin at 9 am
