So when a package showed up in my mailbox, filled with “Kindness Elves” I immediately liked the idea more than the Elf on the Shelf. Because my kids love “Ralph the Elf,” I’m sure he’ll stick around for a few more years, but I fully intend on adding the Kindness Elves to our holiday guest list. Let the quirky Ralph spy on the kids’ behavior, I’m more excited about my kids taking an active part in spreading joy, thanks to the ideas of the Kindness Elves.
Our Elf on the Shelf arrives around Thanksgiving, so I figured I’d give you thirty simple ideas of random acts of kindness for your kids to do…assuming you want to do one every day. But, if you are busy like me, you may want to save some of them for next year, and pick and choose one or two a week to really focus on. Realistically, I can’t see being able to do all thirty of these in one season. I think my plan is to have my Kindness Elves have a designated place that they show up each time {aka no changing locations daily}, and they’ll have a little card with a “challenge” on it for the kids to do.
