Buy Local Month is a grassroots movement of education and relationship building that promotes the many economic and societal benefits of supporting local businesses. During Buy Local Month, LLF works to showcase the great work local businesses are doing for their community and to steer consumers to these businesses at the height of the holiday shopping season.
Be sure to look for the “Buy Local” badge in storefronts or use the Online Local Business Directory to support your neighbors this holiday season!

Enjoy the last West Ashley Farmers Market day of the 2017 season with a special holiday fair featuring local vendors, artisans, and food.
6th Annual Charleston Vendor’s Extravaganza

As Christmas time approaches what better way to get ready for the holiday season than buying American-made treasures crafted with creativity. You’ll find pottery, jewelry, metal sculpture, woodworking, glass, Christmas ornaments, photography, fine art, delicious gourmet delights and so much more!

Finish your holiday shopping and browse a wonderful assortment of Christmas ornaments, glasswork, whimsical crafts, and a wide variety of original art by locally recognized potters, artists, craftsmen and photographers. Children’s activities will include face painting, a jump castle and a visit with Santa Claus!
Carnes Crossroads, 513 Wodin Place, Summerville
12 – 5 pm
Carnes Crossroads will transform into a holiday wonderland with festive lights and holiday cheer! Vendors will be selling handmade items in Green Barn. There will be choral performances from school and church groups on The Village Green. Santa will make an appearance, and there will be a cookie decorating station!

Saturdays & Sundays, 9 am-3 pm
You’ll find everything you need to deck the halls for the holidays and fill the pantry with baked goodies, all from local farmers and artisans, including natural wreaths, fresh greenery, special breads, cookies and fresh vegetables, as well as the best assortment of art, crafts and holiday gift items.
