Jody and her family made the change from city life in Chicago to the suburbs of Charleston and couldn't be happier! With an undergraduate degree from Elon University and a Master's in Counseling from DePaul University, Jody's career path took a different turn when given the opportunity to take over ownership of Charleston Moms. Jody is passionate about opening conversations around topics that help other moms feel less alone and creating an inviting community for ALL moms in the Lowcountry. In her spare time, Jody loves to spend time with her two daughters, puppy, and husband (in no particular order), read, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and conversation with good friends.Tiffany traded in back-to-back business meetings and PowerPoint presentations, for sippy cups and play dates – leaving her corporate job of 15 years to become a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom. To say life is different is an understatement, and she now has a new found love and respect for the “hardest” (and best!) job she’s ever had. A native South Carolinian, Tiffany is best described as kind-hearted and friendly, with a quick sense of humor. When she’s not toting her little to the latest kid-friendly activity, you can find her enjoying a good cup of coffee or catching up on the latest celebrity gossip news. She received her Masters Degree in Integrated Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2007, and enjoys reading, writing and traveling (when she finds the time). She lives in Columbia with her husband Rob, and is also the owner and founder of Columbia Mom.

Amanda is from upstate New York, married her Tennessee guy in 2011, and moved to Charleston the next day. They adopted two toddler boys from South Korea in 2017 and 2019. She loves to share her heart about adoption, and humor lent by beginning motherhood with her toddler who spoke another language. Amanda has a social work degree and a background in non-profit work. She enjoys her awkward floppy hound, assertive cuddly cat, and constantly sings (commonly incorrect lyrics) throughout the day. She is always up for creating, helping out at her boys' schools, and occasionally dancing, playing the drums, and singing out in the community! As a native South Carolinian, Haylee moved to Charleston when she began attending the College of Charleston and immediately fell in love with the Lowcountry (and eventually her future husband, Derek, who was attending The Citadel). They stayed in the Charleston area after getting married and are now raising their two sons here (4 years old and almost 2 years old). Haylee is a self-proclaimed coffee addict who loves traveling, skincare, and all things Disney. You’ll find her family at the beach, a local county park, or serving at their church in their spare time. Haylee loves Charleston and can’t wait to help connect local moms to each other and local businesses!Alexis grew up a military child, born and raised all over the southeast. After meeting her husband, Shown, and living on the west coast for a bit, she couldn’t stay away from palm trees any longer, so they headed to Charleston. They immediately fell in love with the Lowcountry, and almost a decade later are now raising their miracle baby girl Evvie here! Alexis is passionate about the power of relationships with a previous career in the nonprofit sector and is so excited to bring that experience to Charleston Moms. In her free time, she loves adventuring with Evvie, gluten free baking, DIY projects, and is a big fan of Peloton!Joan comes to us from all over. She grew up in a military family and has lived across the United States and Europe, settling in Charleston in 2019. When Joan isn’t out exploring Charleston, meeting new mom friends, and finding fun family-friendly activities she works in EMS as a Paramedic. She and her husband Ryder, a Mount Pleasant Firefighter and native Charlestonian, have a daughter born in October of 2021 and a son due in November 2022. The couple is absolutely thrilled to join the two under two club!
