Growing up in New England, when I think of fall, I tend to think about all of the traditional fall things…the leaves changing colors, warm sweaters, chilly nights, and allllll the apple recipes! However since moving down South, I soon realized that apple picking in the Charleston area just wasn’t a reality (good thing there are so many other amazing things to love about the Lowcountry!) The good news is that you don’t have to travel too far to take part in this traditional fall activity, there are some great u-pick orchards in the Carolinas that are just a few hours away. Whether you’re looking for a day trip or weekend away, check these places out!
