Wine Down Wednesday

Call the babysitter and head to Old Towne Creek County Park for a date night or fun (and well deserved) evening out with friends. There will also be food trucks and live music to enjoy.

North Charleston Arts Fest

Come check out this 35th annual event which features fantastic performances, exhibits, and activities that everyone will enjoy.

Art Walk

Head to Broad Street on the first Friday of every month for an art walk that will feature galleries, restaurants, shops, and boutiques on the row.

Saturday May 6 

Cars on Kiawah

Come out to Kiawah Island and enjoy this free event, open to the public, featuring over 200 of the region’s top club and collector cars.

Lowcountry Shrimp Festival

The Lowcountry Shrimp Festival is a celebration of shrimp and blessing of the fleet at the Robert E. Ashley Boat Landing. There is live music, local shrimp, BBQ, and local artisans and children’s play area. All proceeds from the festival benefit Cape Romain Environmental Education School.

The Rainbow Fish

Ballet Academy of Charleston presents Rainbow Fish, a family-friendly ballet based on the famous story by Marc Pfister. Dancers (ranging in age from 4-17) will bring to life this wonderful story and everyone is sure to enjoy it!

Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival

Starting in 2006, the Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival celebrates Latin culture and heritage. The Charleston community can enjoy Hispanic food, dance, and music.

Tuesday, May 9

Animal Forest Tuesday at Charles Towne Landing 

Bring your toddlers to watch the animals and stay for a story and a walk out to the habitat. Recommended ages is 2-4.

Charleston Greek Festival

Enjoy Greek food, music, folk dance performances, and tours of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

14th Annual Moms’ Run + Family Fun Day

This annual run/walk is open to all ages and is hosted by Postpartum Support Charleston. It begins on Daniel Island and ends at the MUSC Health Stadium. The run is followed by music, free food, and plenty of children’s activities.

2nd Sunday on King Street

Shop, dine, and walk along King Street, which is closed off to traffic, on the 2nd Sunday of each month! Print this voucher to receive two hours of free parking!

Tall Ships Charleston 2017

Bands, Burgers, and Brews Burger Throwdown

What better way to celebrate National Burger Month than by checking out Chefs from around the Lowcountry competing in a live cook-off to decide who will represent at the World Food Championship Burger Competition.
