Art Walk

Located along Historic Broad Street, Gallery Row opens its doors for “First Fridays on Broad” and a variety of other events hosted by the 15 galleries, restaurants, shops, and boutiques on the Row.

Friday, November 3

Little Mermaid Jr.

The Charleston Performing Arts Center (C-PAC) is thrilled to present the James Island Junior Theatre and its inaugural production, Little Mermaid Jr.! The James Island Junior Theatre is comprised of local youth actors, age 8-18. The show runs October 27th-November 5th.

16th Annual Harvest Festival

Charleston County Parks is hosting a traditional Southern fall shindig! There will be local bluegrass talent performing, as well as plenty of food and kids activities.

Cost: Admission is $8 per person. Kids 12 and under and Gold Pass holders are admitted free.

The Charleston Mac Off 2017

This year’s festival will feature 20 mac and cheese restaurants, a free Kids Zone, live music, beer, wine, cocktails, and a Kitchen demo space, The Mac Kitchen, which will offer attendees FREE programmed activities and food demonstrations.

Lung Force Run/Walk

Join the American Lung Association in their battle to promote lung health and prevent lung disease by participating in the Lung Force Run/Walk at Folly Beach!

Lowcountry Hoedown

Grab your cowboy boots for craft brews, bourbon and moonshine plus Southern eats, barbecue and boot-stompin’ bluegrass music. 7-11 p.m. at the Visitor Center Bus Shed in downtown Charleston.

The Wizard of Oz

The entire family will be captivated as they travel down the yellow brick road and beyond with Dorothy, Toto and their friends the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow in this lavish production, featuring breathtaking special effects, dazzling choreography and classic songs.

Charleston Coffee Cup Event

The event will feature local coffee shops, local and regional roasters from all over the Southeast favorite local brunch purveyors, artisans, live music and kids activities.

Annual Oyster Roast & Silent Auction

With live music and all-you-can-eat BBQ and oysters, the Friends of the Hunley fundraiser has become one of the best annual events in Charleston. The event also features a popular silent auction, filled with weekend getaways, Lowcountry arts, gift certificates and more.

Le Creuset Factory to Table

The second ever Factory-to-Table sales event will feature special discounts on a large selection of Le Creuset products from around the world.

5th Annual Smoke on the Harbor BBQ Throwdown

Come for the wing and bbq competition and stay for the live music and numerous food and drink options. The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina will also host a Food Drive benefiting the East Cooper Meals on Wheels during the event. Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items. As a thank you, they will receive $5 off the $10 admission.

Celadon 23rd Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate their 23rd anniversary, Celadon is hosting an all-day birthday party, complete with four food and beverage trucks, tarot card readings, face painting for kids, and live music.

Food Festival featuring Shrimp ‘n Grits

Come out to Joe Riley Park on Saturday, November 11th for the RiverDogs Food Festival featuring Shrimp ‘n Grits presented by Charleston Mix Bloody Mary! Sample shrimp ‘n grits recipes from some of Charleston’s favorite restaurants, listen to live music by Blue Plantation Band, and stroll through Vendor Village. There will also be a Kids Zone and cash bar!

Third Thursdays in Summerville

18th Annual Chili Cook-off and Oyster Roast

What is better than a chili cook-off and oyster roast during the fall season? How about that all of the money raised goes to Toby’s Fund, Charleston Animal Society’s medical fund which helps thousands of injured, sick and homeless animals each year.

Thursday, November 23

Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble

The Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a Holiday tradition for Charleston natives. The course takes runners through historic downtown Charleston and Battery before returning to Marion Square for a post-race party that includes free food and beverages (beer provided for those 21+ years) as well as live music and awards ceremony. There will also be a Children’s Fun Run.

A Christmas Carol
