Nighttime at the Museum

Celebrate the end of the school year with your family at our annual Nighttime at the Museum and discover how history comes to life! Nighttime at the Museum features costumed re-enactors, special displays, an exciting scavenger hunt, crafts, and fun demonstrations.

GIRL SCOUT DAY 2018

The Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina and Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum are joining together to offer GIRL SCOUT DAY on June 2, 2018 aboard the historic USS Yorktown.  Tickets are $25 per Girl Scout and $15 for parents. Movies on the Beach

Friday, June 8

Legends in the South Game

The Charleston RiverDogs are proud to host the Third Annual Legends in the South Yankees vs. Braves Alumni Game presented by Budweiser and Container Maintenance on Friday, June 8th at 6:35pm at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The Legends in the South Game benefits the Campaign for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.

Cost: General admission tickets for the Legends in the South game start at just $12 and are now on sale. Grandstand seats are $15, Field View seats are $20 and Diamond View seats will be sold at $25.

Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting 

Sign up for the 30th Annual Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition for a chance to win some great prizes donated by local sponsors. Up to 4 people can compete as a team. Join Robin at The Citadel Beach Club on the beach at 8:30 a.m. and we’ll walk down to front beach IOP to watch the sand sculpting contest. Bring a water and some cash (in case we decide to stop in somewhere for a drink). Bring a bag lunch! Rain cancels the event.

Larger Than Life “The Ultimate BoyBand Tribute” with 95SX

Larger Than Life “The Ultimate Boyband Tribute” started in New York and it is taking the country by storm. This is the only act of it’s kind featuring actual boyband singing, dancing, costumes and that pop look. Larger Than Life will take you back in time with the biggest 90s Party since the Backstreet Boys shut down Times Square. Experience this full interactive production that is one of a kind!

Tuesday, June 12

Read to the HOG program at Charles Towne Landing

Reading is “hogs” of fun, especially with Madame Mazell, the Animal Forest’s resident hog! Children are invited to come out to Charles Towne Landing and practice their reading skills in a fun atmosphere! This program is free with park admission but registration is required. Call (843) 573-8517 to register your child for this unique literacy experience. Reading sessions are offered Tuesdays at the Domestic Livestock Exhibit, 1:00 pm -2:00 pm.

Mount Pleasant Junior Golf Open

Registration is now open for the 2017 Mount Pleasant Junior Golf Open at Patriots Point Links | Mt. Pleasant, SC. This is a two-day golf tournament for boys and girls between ages 8-12 and 13-18. Don’t wait until it’s too late! Registration closes Thursday, June 7th and is limited to 90 golfers. For more information, call (843) 849-2061.

Paws on The Patio to benefit Charleston Animal Society

Guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to enjoy an exclusive happy hour on the patio at Burtons Grill to benefit Charleston Animal Society. For only $25 per person, attendees will receive two drink tickets plus an appetizer buffet. Fidos, of course, are free! $10 per person will be donated to the Charleston Animal Society. Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series

The five-race Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series at James Island County Park features a 600-yard freshwater swim, 12-mile bike ride, and 5K flat run. Over 30,000 people have raced the series over the years, and the series has been honored as one of the Top Ten Charleston Signature Sport Events by the Charleston Metro Sports Council.

Lowcountry Boil on Morris Island

You haven’t lived till you’ve tried this Southern Favorite – corn, potatoes, sausage, and shrimp combined in one large pot for a delicious beach treat. Explore the island, swim, or relax on the sand while we prepare dinner. This an experience to remember! Perfect for family gatherings or large group events. Louie’s Kids

Louie’s Kids is hosting its annual Little Chef/Big Chef event on June 25, 2018 from 7pm-10pm at Halls Signature Events in historic downtown Charleston. All proceeds from the event will go toward Louie’s Kids to help prevent and treat childhood obesity, and promote a healthy, productive lifestyle.
