Reasons Moms Love Costco!

0

Last month, thousands of moms flocked to Costco warehouses across the country for Costco Mom Hour. Costco open their doors at 9am, instead of their usual 10am, just so moms could have the chance to shop without any crowds. At our Costco here in Charleston, local moms starting lining up 30 minutes before the doors opened. They were ready to shop! We enjoyed having the store to ourselves for an hour while we shopped, ate a delicious continental breakfast, tasted samples throughout the store, and mingled with new friends. Each mom who attended received a swag bag full of Kirkland Signature products!

We at Charleston Moms Blog LOVE Costco and we think you would too! Costco may be a bulk-buying store, but families of all sizes can benefit from shopping here.

Here are our top reasons why you should become a Costco member!

Diapers and Baby Wipes!

We’ve been using Pampers exclusively since my daughter was born. During Costco Mom Hour, I heard a few moms talking about how much they loved Kirkland Signature Diapers and I was intrigued. Buying diapers in bulk that I may or may not like was a gamble but it worked out for the best. These diapers work great and the price can’t be beat.

Kirkland Brand!

The Kirkland brand is Costco’s brand. These items are just as good as name brands, and ofter cheaper. When given the choice I always try the Kirkland brand. Our must-have Kirkland items: olive oil, apple sauce pouches, fruit snacks, bacon, and batteries.

Free Samples!

Head to Costco during lunch time and feed your kids while you shop. We won’t judge! The sample stations are a great way to keep kids happy and to try out items that you’re unsure about.

 Gluten Free and Organic Items!

Costco has organic and gluten free items that you can usually find at health food store, at cheaper prices! Their high quality organic products include fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, and meats. Their Kirkland Signature Organic Ground Beef is a must-try.

Household Items!

There’s nothing worse than finishing off a paper towel roll and realizing it was your last roll. Shopping at Costco is a good way to ensure that never happens with their bulk paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, laundry detergent, dish soap, and more.

Wine!

Did you know that Costco is the largest retailer of wine in the United States? Besides offering great tasting wine from their Kirkland Signature brand, Costco also offers lower prices on national brands of wine.

Dinner To Go!

Rotisserie chicken, take and bake pizzas, chicken dishes, and pasta are just some of the prepared dinner options that Costco offers.

Clothing!

Costco is a great place to stock up on clothing basics like undershirts, socks, underwear, pajamas, loungewear, and workout gear. They carry name brands as well as their Kirkland Signature Brand.

One Stop Shopping!

Costco is a one and done store. You can do most of your household shopping and errands there. Here are just some of the many services Costco offers:: Fresh Deli, Bakery, Electronics, Toys, Books, Pharmacy, Tire Center, 1-Hour Photo (print from the Costco app!), Optical Department, Hearing Aid Center, Food Court… and the list goes on!

For us, Costco is definitely worth the membership fee for the savings we’ve received from shopping there, as well as the convenience of one-stop shopping. Costco will give you a full refund on your membership at any time, no questions asked.
