Give them tomorrow!

The March of Dimes and its partners across the country are raising awareness and funds to Give them tomorrow, a universal call to do something today to help moms and babies.

Did you know that in the U.S., 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely every year? It’s the #1 killer of babies in our country, and those who survive often face birth defects and complications that affect them for life. For families in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) their dreams of tomorrow are put on hold as their babies fight for survival. This fall we’re taking 380,000+actions for every baby born too soon this year, and we can’t do it without you.

The March of Dimes needs your help to support families and to share our message of hope to give every baby a fighting chance. Start by using #givethemtomorrow across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There are so many ways to get involved, just take your pick.

Visit March of Dimes online and do something today:

•Send a hand-delivered card as a message of hope to a family in the NICU

•Share your #babysfirst(first smile, steps, day of school, etc.) with your social community

•Make a donation to help fund prematurity research that saves babies’ lives

•Ask your work place can help too by joining The Go Purple! Challenge.

Please share these facts about premature birth, and the impact it has on families in your community and across the country with as many people as you know, the better prepared they’ll be to fight it.
