Join Postpartum Support Charleston the fourth Friday of the month for a walk led by a volunteer who has recovered from perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Are you having trouble adjusting to motherhood? Are you feeling sad, anxious, angry or scared? Do you feel like there is no hope to feeling better? Are you physically and emotionally exhausted? You’re not alone, mama. This walk is run by volunteers who have walked that path and come through to the other side. Meet other mothers who are experiencing the same feelings as you and receive invaluable community resources. *This is a woman-only group (female friends and family members are welcome to join), and we welcome kids in all stages. Our meeting spot has a playground that the kids can play on at the end of the walk, if necessary.
This group is free. One-on-one support is available upon request.
Postpartum Support Charleston is a Mount Pleasant-based 501c3 founded in 2000.
